Volunteer

PFLAG Cincinnati is a volunteer run 501(c)3 

To find out more about how you can get involved, start by attending a meeting!  To be added to our mailing list, fill out the subscribe form in the header.

​

Out in the community

  • work at booths or information tables at events such as Pride, Youth Summit, Black Family Reunion, Trans Day of Remembrance, school events, PTA meetings

  • speak to classes, forums, panels

  • fund-raise for scholarships and other needs

  • organize special events such as bringing in a speaker or hosting a film showing

  • walk with PFLAG at a pride parade

  • attend a local bar/business' special nights to benefit PFLAG Cincinnati 

Helping behind the scenes

  • create content for social media sites

  • help manage our website

  • serve on the Board as an officer or at-large member

  • serve on the programming or scholarship committee 

  • manage the lending library 

  • provide refreshments at meetings

  • manage literature inventory

  • manage membership lists

  • work with the press and media

Kroger Community Rewards

Simply go to kroger.com/i/community/community-rewards .  Log in to your Kroger account.  Search for PFLAG Cincinnati either by name or CH881 and then click Enroll. Kroger will send a percentage of qualifying sales to PFLAG Cincinnati. New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card.
