Spotlight News

PFLAG Cincinnati is once again sponsoring a team, the Paul Lee Delph/PFLAG Cincinnati Team at Caracole's Aids Walk & Run on April 2 at 9:00 AM at Spring Grove Cemetery. Caracole is Greater Cincinnati’s nonprofit devoted to positively changing lives in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

“Paul Delph (February 28, 1957 – May 21, 1996) was a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, producer, engineer, and studio musician whose catalog includes work with many well-known recording artists from the late 1970s through the mid-1990s. Delph died from complications of HIV/AIDS at his parents' home in Cincinnati, Ohio. His ashes are interred at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. A panel in Delph's name is part of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt.”

Paul’s parents, Harold & June Delph (d.2009) and sister Linda Arnest, have been great supporters of PFLAG Cincinnati. Harold who has supported this event over many years in honor of Paul will turn 91 on April 2nd the day of the walk. Harold is planning to be at the walk to cheer us on as we start the walk.
